Devil Dancesport members took first and second place at the Galaxy Dance Festival.

The two couples competed in the Novice International Latin category dancing the Cha Cha, Samba, and Rumba. Will, Mehul, Melissa, Sarah were also there to cheer them on.
Sarah also took first place in the International Latin Fancy Shoes category.

September 14th, 2006 - Back to School Dance Pictures

Pictures from the Back to School Dance are now up and ready for your viewing pleasure.

The first ever school dance brought by Devil DanceSport right here on campus in the Arizona Ballroom. That's right, a ballroom was used for ballroom dancing.

The rest of the pictures page have also been vacuumed, sorted, and disinfected.

September 12th, 2006 - Embassy Ball Pictures

Pictures from the Embassy Ball are now up.

The Embassy Ball DanceSport Championships held the week of Sept. 3rd, 2006 included the WORLD PROFESSIONAL LATIN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP (WDDSC), (IDSF) GRAND SLAM STANDARD & LATIN,WORLD CUP OPEN PROFESSIONAL STANDARD & LATIN, and the Amateur Pre-Novice division.

Our officers Kat and Tudor won 2nd place in the Amateur Pre-Novice International Latin division. Congratulations! Please come down to earth soon.

August 26th, 2006 - Devil DanceSport First Orientation Meeting

Great attendance, great energy!

Interested people were guided through a concise powerpoint presentation (despite technical difficulties, no thanks to the sun!) on the club's goals, values and events for the upcoming semester.

Stretching and workout ensued and was topped off with some fun cha-cha-cha partnering up.
